The Birthday

I went to see The Birthday live today
Music on TV GG09
at Shibuya AX
IT WAS AWESOME.
PERIOD.
IT WAS FUCKING AWESOME.
I had to endure like two shows before The Birthday came on, namely Acidman and Lego Big Morl, both of which I did not care about. I started at the back of the front but by the time The Birthday started, I was third row from the stage... It was awesome, I could see everything. But the mosh pit was terrible when I didn't care about the other two bands, like it was literally a human squash and the mop of the girl's hair in front of me kept on brushing my face, and there was no room for breathing... and the bottom line was I just really didn't care about the other two bands, so it was bad in the mosh pit. But when it was The Birthday's turn it was awesome. Everyone sang along to the songs... so did I. Hah... awesome. I can't recall the complete set list, but they played Lazy Submarine first. They played Calendar Girl. Alicia. Nude Rider. Namida Ga Koboresou (which was so so so fucking awesome. So so so good.) And they played a song I've never heard before, maybe it's a new song. Oh my God... Namida ga koboresou was so good. I loved everything. The mosh pit was terrifying shit though, but it was worth it. It was worth getting squashed while listening to two bands I didn't care about. I can't believe I got to see Chiba!
I was drenched from head to toe (in sweat) when the show's over... My housemate Samuel from France (who went along with me even though he didn't know any of the bands haha) said I looked like I just came out of the shower. I felt bad on the subway afterwards, but, it was so good! Samuel thought Acidman was really good... but I really didn't care. Haha. He thought the whole show was good. I lost him in the middle of the show when the mosh pit became a mess. Well, I obviously would have rather gone to The Birthday's one-man tour, but it starts in October, and I would have gone home by then. Damn 90-day visa! But it's alright, today was like way beyond my imagination. I bought two towels and a T-shirt (with The Birthday printed) afterwards at the tour goods stall.
CHIBA.
Chiba Yusuke is the coolest man alive. He is like there and everyone else on earth is two hundred miles behind.
It was worth everything.
